Coming from a background that includes bioscience, aerospace, and internet technologies, John brings a life-long love of science and exploration to the classroom. He came to the teaching profession late in life, beginning with an adjunct professor position at SJSU before moving into SFUSD where he could focus on equity, opportunity, and strong literacy skills for his students. He hopes to pass on to his classes his own love of learning and a sense of wonder for the possibilities the world holds.
